This is where I keep a running record of where I've been, what I've climbed, and what I'm chasing next. Somewhere between old cities and higher trails, I'm always trying to be a little better than I was last time.
I'm a Computer Science student at Kennesaw State University, focused on AI/ML. Most of my week goes into that — coursework, projects, the usual.
Outside of it, I travel when I can and spend a lot of time outdoors. I like old cities for the same reason I like a good trail — there's usually a story in the terrain if you're paying attention.
I try to keep a routine around both: show up, put the work in, take the trip when it's earned.
A running collection of places I've been — some for the history, some for the climb, most for both.
Not every part of pushing myself is scenic. Some of it looks like this — early mornings, gear on, doing the unglamorous work before the sun's up. I spent time at Naval Science Institute, which was less about any one skill and more about learning to keep going when it's genuinely hard.
That's the version of "getting better" I actually trust — the kind nobody's watching, that shows up later as being able to handle whatever's in front of you.
